More Book Reviews!

The Fault in our stars -John Green
For whatever reasons I wanted to see this movie at the movie theater BUT I had to read the book first because the book is ALWAYS better than the movie right? Right. I had to wait to get it at the library though. I barely made it by finishing the book the night before I saw the movie. I didn't know much about the story other than it was about a sick girl but how sick I didn't know. This is one of those books that leaves you appreciating life more without having to lose anything on the way. The girl meets a seemingly healthy boy at their support group. I enjoyed this book because their witty repartee keeps most of the book as light as can be.

Treat Yourself- Jennifer Steinhauer

If I were to buy a book that just had recipes for baking it would be this one. It has recipes to make your own cheez-its (probably much healthier ones!), marshmallows (how fun!), Nutter Butters and a whole slew of nostalgic goodies! ho knows, I may eventually end up with it in my hot little hands at some point to keep.

  1. I read the fault in our stars because lots of people seemed to love it, I haven't had chance to see the movie yet though. Did you like it?

  2. I bought The Fault in Our Stars during my stay in Copenhagen this summer, and I finished it in a few days. After that, my fiancé borrowed it as well, and after that we watched the movie together, but I fell asleep haha. The book was so much better!!

The baking book looks so delishious though! I've always wanted to make my own marhsmellows!
