Snail mail...
I just joined Letter writer's alliance which I've been wanting to for for awhile so I'm pretty excited about it.
One of my favorite hobbies is snail mail. It's old fashioned, and there's email! But I love snail mail and probably always will. Exchanging letters, postcards, parcels..collecting kawaii letter sets, finding vintage stationery at thrift stores..I love all of it.
How cool is this yarn bombed mail box?
I think my craft room needs a mail art cart! Maybe I just might do that!

ReplyDeleteNothing like the sound of our antique mail-slot door announcing mail. We have one of those that drop inside a box in the house. Only problem is back-in-the-day mail was basically normal sized envelopes. We try to catch the mail carrier before she has to stuff the over sized ads in the tiny slot. I'm sure it's frustrating for her.
I wish we had one of those!

ReplyDeleteI miss getting snail mail! I used to have two or three regular snail mail buddies, but I lost touch with two of them and only keep in touch with the other on FB. It's so fun to get stuff in the mail that's not bills. :P
