Balloon Classic

Yesterday my husband and I got up at 5:30am (Yeah, that was in the morning) to go to the Colorado Balloon festival which starts at sunrise. This is something I look forward to as a photographer. What is it? A bunch of hot air balloons lifting off and flying to who knows where. They also have the balloon glow but due to awkward schedules we won't be attending it this year.

I can not remember the last time I just sat down and edited photos. I have come to depend on my iphone far too much (which won't be happening anymore) and so it was fun yesterday morning to photograph the balloons. The weather was kind of gorgeous because it wasn't too warm yet (it doesn't help that I think anything above 70 is warm, Ha!) and the breeze was just right.

The same weekend we have this balloon festival Starbucks always releases the pumpkin spice so we on tradition always get a pumpkin spice frappucino haha. So this balloon festival is kind of like an unofficial kick off to the fall season.
